The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Severo got free with Rubens Proença in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Benjamim Mineiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Marcel Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Décio de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vacas do Norte da Malásia's protests and gave Décio de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Décio de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Oswaldo Severo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubens Proença. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcel Ramos scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vacas do Norte da Malásia's Rubens Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Soares in the 36th minute of play. With 47 minutes on the clock, Benjamim Mineiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Benjamim Mineiro hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vacas do Norte da Malásia's zone, Moisés Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Proença came out of the goal and Moisés Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caco Soares was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Susto AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Soares to maneuver through the defense. When Marcel Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vacas do Norte da Malásia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Ramos couldn't finish the play. Décio de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Susto AD's Oswaldo Severo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Proença was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oswaldo Severo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Proença. Rubens Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 73 played minutes Susto AD got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Tepedino. Pedro Luís Peixoto hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Susto AD's Oswaldo Severo in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vacas do Norte da Malásia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute Caco Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Cristian Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Décio de Amorim went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Celso Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. A hard shot 98 in the game by Décio de Amorim from a close distance when the talented Cristian Recife managed to make a qualified save. Susto AD's players were relieved.
