An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Valle in the 9th minute of play forced Germany School Soccer's goalkeeper Elder Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Dinei Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Germany School Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Rosado came free, but Elder Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Carlinhos Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Carlinhos Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany School Soccer's Elder Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Valle in the 30th minute of play. Felippe Antunes came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vinícius das Neves could save by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Germany School Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Valle came free, but Elder Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Elder Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio de Azevedo in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Felippe Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany School Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Atlético Nonato got a freekick which was hit by Antônio de Azevedo. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nonato's Sílvio Luiz Pombal got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arnaldo Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius das Neves having to make a save. After the first half Atlético Nonato were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlinhos Valle was the one to do the kick off. Dedé Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany School Soccer's zone, Carlinhos Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Palmeira came out of the goal and Carlinhos Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Nonato's Carlinhos Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany School Soccer were furious when Arnaldo Castro was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th match minute, Germany School Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Castro to maneuver through the defense. It was a brilliant solo performance by Atlético Nonato's Paulo Cosme when he shot the ball into the net to 0-4 in the 67th minute. Elder Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Natã Rosado sent off a good shot on target. Dinei Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Felippe Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vinícius das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Palmeira was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Natã Rosado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Natã Rosado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Natã Rosados short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Elder Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elder Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Germany School Soccer's goalkeeper Elder Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Rosado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Rosado got free with Elder Palmeira in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético Nonato's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
