Fred Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elder Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany School Soccer's Dedé Diniz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Fred Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Candiba FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gustavo Mattos hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Germany School Soccer's Dinei Mangueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulinho Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes Candiba FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Mattos. Fred Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elder Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Elder Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candiba FC. Germany School Soccer's Elder Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Ferreira in the 33rd minute of play. Fred Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Palmeira having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Erasmo Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany School Soccer's Elder Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Erasmo Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Palmeira was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Felippe Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Germany School Soccer's Elder Palmeira got control of the ball when Fred Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinei Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Aníbal Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candiba FC and the Germany School Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Candiba FC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Rossi. After 80 played minutes Germany School Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Breno Branco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Ferreira in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Mangueira in the 85th minute of play forced Candiba FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Candiba FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gustavo Mattos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Felippe Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany School Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
