After 33rd play minutes Natã Rosado shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Elói Luz and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio de Azevedo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elói Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Rosado in the 38th minute. Cuiaba FC's Elói Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Cuiaba FC from getting a goal against them.
