Ciro da Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fábio de Sena could save by the left post. Juan Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Catarinense went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Cleiton Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Breckenfeld in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fábio de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Loisiania's zone, Adalmo Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Ceresso came out of the goal and Adalmo Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fábio de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Breckenfeld in the 74th minute of play. Adalmo Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Musinho FC's Luiz Fábio de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Breckenfeld in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Cleiton Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleiton Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
