Pedrão dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Bacaubas EC's Rafael Fantini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedrão dos Santos. Pedrão dos Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rafael Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Branco in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedrão dos Santos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the match, Maiquinique EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Fantini came free, but Pedrão dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Rafael Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Maiquinique EC's Pedrão dos Santos got control of the ball when Joel Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Fantini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Bacaubas EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pedrão dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Bacaubas EC's Pedrão dos Santos threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Fantini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joel Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pedrão dos Santos made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Salgado to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Branco in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Fantini in the 60th minute of play forced Maiquinique EC's goalkeeper Pedrão dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rafael Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Lauro Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Rafael Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão dos Santos having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, one of Maiquinique EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maiquinique EC. In the 99th minute Joel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bacaubas EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
