Zeca Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Terenos's zone, Raimundo Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Pena came out of the goal and Raimundo Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Narciso da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zeca Pena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Galvão hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, NoLimits's Raimundo Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Terenos's Zeca Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Terenos from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Narciso da Cunha sped through Terenos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeca Pena. Raimundo Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Zeca Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Galvão made a kick off. If Bebeto Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Terenos's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Lago came free, but Zeca Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in NoLimits's zone, Mauro Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Lago came out of the goal and Mauro Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raimundo Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Durvalino Simões in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NoLimits's Silvinho das Neves. When Marcelo Vander fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NoLimits's protests and gave Marcelo Vander a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Lago having to interfere. Bebeto Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 minutes of play, NoLimits's Narciso da Cunha made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeca Pena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 81 minutes, Narciso da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NoLimits's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, NoLimits's Raimundo Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Raimundo Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Raimundo Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NoLimits's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
