In the 12th minute Zé Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jânio de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Macajuba's Lúcio Teixeira in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parazinho AD's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Parazinho AD getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Laércio Faria hit a great ball. Jânio de Amaral came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Parazinho AD's Zé Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Zé Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th match minute, Macajuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Varela to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Macajuba got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Jacinto. Macajuba's Jânio de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Cordeiro in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Macajuba's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin de Toledo came free, but Jânio de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Macajuba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parazinho AD were winning 0-2.

Benjamin de Toledos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Jânio de Amaral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Jânio de Amaral managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Parazinho AD's Benjamin de Toledo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zé Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parazinho AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fabiano Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Macajuba's goalkeeper Jânio de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin de Toledo. Benjamin de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Laércio Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parazinho AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macajuba the free kick. A collision led to Parazinho AD getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Laércio Faria hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Zé Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parazinho AD played a much better game than Macajuba and deserved their victory. The Macajuba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
