Claudinho Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, GeloZeroGrau's Claudinho Esteves threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fernando Carneiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Claudinho Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luiz Fernando Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the GeloZeroGrau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Carneiro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, GeloZeroGrau's Natã de Carvalho got control of the ball when Amadeu Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeca de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fernando Carneiro in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuca Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Natã de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canicura. GeloZeroGrau were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
