He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Gerber was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Pedro Paulo Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Paulo Gerber 23 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Porto F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Carneiro. With a little luck, Ferias's Pedro Paulo Gerber got control of the ball when Luís Fabiano Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Paulo Gerber was a little too slow when Luís Fabiano Albuquerque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fabiano Albuquerque got free with Pedro Paulo Gerber in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Romero made a kick off. Pedro Paulo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Albuquerque in the 51st minute of play. Alfred Sitko charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Sitko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Paulo Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Castro during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferias's Diego Castro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alfred Sitko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Gerber having to interfere. The Porto F.C fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Porto F.C's Alfred Sitko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Paulo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Joel Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ferias booed when Porto F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Marcelinho de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferias and the Porto F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferias's Marcelinho de Souza got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Ferias got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Catarinense. 96 minutes into the match, Porto F.C's Alfred Sitko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Paulo Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porto F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ferias for a fine match.
