A collision led to Chamyto AD getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alexandre Salles hit a great ball. Cássio Carneiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Richard Meireles made a huge save. The supporters of Chamyto AD booed when Porto F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Sitko struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Richard Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto F.C. After 38 played minutes Chamyto AD got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Vaz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fabiano Albuquerque in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Meireles saved Chamyto AD from getting behind. Richard Meireles came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Porto F.C's Luís Fabiano Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Meireles was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 57th minute Porto F.C were awarded a corner. Alfred Sitko went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Kaká Neto drilling the ball in to score 4-0 behind Chamyto AD's goalkeeper. Aloísio Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match.
