Chico Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ademir Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, Formos SS's Delfim Zonta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademir Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudu Pena during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dudu Pena hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to Savage getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ramón Meireles hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Delfim Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Silas Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savage and the Formos SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delfim Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Vides having to interfere. The Savage players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Formos SS were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. Franklin Jacinto scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Savage's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chico Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 62nd match minute, Savage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Chico Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ademir Vides. That made the score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Formos SS's Chico Marquez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ademir Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Zonta's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Chico Marquez scored 1-5 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademir Vides, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silas Gaspar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Delfim Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Vides having to interfere. Savage's Ademir Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Zonta in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Formos SS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. François-Xavier Reine hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chico Marquez got free with Ademir Vides in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
