Horácio Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Vanderslaike FC's Horácio Veloso threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nilson Borge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimas Gaška got free with Horácio Veloso in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Vanderslaike FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Borge. In the 30th minute, Nilson Borge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 37th minute, Jeronimas Gaška ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, caixa 2's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Borge came free, but Horácio Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, caixa 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Nilson Borge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanderslaike FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Borge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horácio Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimas Gaška in the 90th minute of the match. Horácio Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Borge, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Nilson Borge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Jeronimas Gaška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vanderslaike FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
