Pegaplá FC's Hernani Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pegaplá FC booed when MIDGARD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Erasmo Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho de Azevedo. MIDGARD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Baltazar Berger took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Valladares. Luís Gustavo Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 27 played minutes, Pegaplá FC's João Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armandinho de Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pegaplá FC reached it. With a little luck, Pegaplá FC's Luís Gustavo Valladares got control of the ball when Baltazar Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Berger got free with Luís Gustavo Valladares in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Erasmo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 吴真平 hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo Meira during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Pegaplá FC got a freekick which was hit by Téo Meira. Luís Gustavo Valladares came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by MIDGARD's 吴真平. But to his dismay, 吴真平 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 95th minute 吴真平 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Baltazar Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MIDGARD fully deserved thier win.
