Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, Zadilinos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César do Valle to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Oséas Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaracy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zadilinos AD the free kick. The supporters of Zadilinos AD booed when Guaracy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubinho Miranda in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Tepedino saved Guaracy from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Queirós in the 22nd minute of play forced Zadilinos AD's goalkeeper Zézinho Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Tepedino having to interfere. Magno Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zézinho Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Washington Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Nelson Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Cardoso during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Queirós made a kick off. In the 54th minute Magno Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaracy's Nelson Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Miranda in the 57th minute of play. Rubinho Miranda struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nelson Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zadilinos AD. Zadilinos AD's Serafim Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guaracy's Oséas Bertassi got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Zadilinos AD's Henrique de Sena broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 76th minute, Jânio da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nelson Tepedino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Leal in the 79th minute. Serafim Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Nelson Tepedino made a huge save. Fred Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zézinho Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaracy's Marco Cardoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Marco Cardoso off the ground. A collision led to Guaracy getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marco Cardoso hit a great ball. If Serafim Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Tepedino having to interfere. The Zadilinos AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
