Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eurico Sampaio kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Sapecado's Daniil Prikourakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráuzio Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dráuzio Toledo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Sapecado's Régis Mineiro. But to his dismay, Régis Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Régis Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Régis Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráuzio Toledo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Sapecado's Régis Mineiro in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arapari's goalie prevented a goal. When Vladimir Linares fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arapari's protests and gave Vladimir Linares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sapecado booed when Arapari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Arapari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Linares to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Mello in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Régis Mineiro sped through Arapari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio Toledo. In the 33rd minute, Régis Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniil Prikourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Toledo having to interfere. Adalberto Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adalberto Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Monteiro in the 40th minute of the match. Dráuzio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Mineiro in the 44th minute of play. Arapari's Dráuzio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Mineiro in the 45th minute of play. The Arapari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sapecado were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Régis Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Arapari booed when Sapecado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Linares in the 56th minute of the match. Sapecado's Adalberto Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Linares in the 56th minute of play. Dráuzio Toledo was a little too slow when Régis Mineiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-4. With his leg Dráuzio Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Sapecado's Régis Mineiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arapari's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Régis Mineiro scored to the left of an out of position Dráuzio Toledo, making the score, 0-5. Arapari's Dráuzio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Prikourakis in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Artur Prado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 75th minute, one of Arapari:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arapari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Prado in the 78th minute of play forced Sapecado's goalkeeper Adalberto Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Mello took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalberto Gaúcho. Adalberto Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Mineiro got free with Dráuzio Toledo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adalberto Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Arapari's Eurico Sampaio. But to his dismay, Eurico Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês Mello during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arapari getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Juarês Mello hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sapecado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
