During the 34th minute of the match Cipriano Gaúcho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cipriano Gaúcho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Júlio Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Ribeiro having to make a save. Serafim França took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Décio Ribeiro. Tubaca FC - Stand-by's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Enio Tróia made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
