Tales Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tales Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Mandiquera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Paes to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Kaká Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wágner Pirani. Fellows Braza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Mandiquera's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Souza came free, but Tzanko Oblakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mandiquera were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
