Zézinho Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arí Paiva struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Wilton Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Indaiatuba. After 19 played minutes, C.A. Indaiatuba's Christian Damião shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilton Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Indaiatuba reached it. Wilton Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Paiva in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Arí Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Wilton Vieira. Tuiuti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of C.A. Indaiatuba booed when Tuiuti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Arí Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilton Vieira was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldinho Galvão during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute Zézinho Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arí Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tuiuti FC's Frederico Lopes got a free kick in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, C.A. Indaiatuba's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Recife came free, but Kiko Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauã Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Recife in the 70th minute of the match. Kiko Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. José Paulo Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Mello having to interfere. If Arí Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 81 in the game by Zézinho Santos from a close distance when the talented Wilton Vieira managed to make a qualified save. Tuiuti FC's players were relieved. Eliseu Freire hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. C.A. Indaiatuba's Celso Britto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wilton Vieira but with some difficulty. The C.A. Indaiatuba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
