Zé Roberto Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Murilo Teles made a huge save. Murilo Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Roberto Xavier went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Murilo Teles made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zé Roberto Xavier sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, Arapiranga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Murilo Teles came out of the goal and Vicente Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmir Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanderson Cavalcante went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Secco was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Arapiranga AD's André Luiz de Andrade got a free kick in the 55th minute. Leopoldo Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmir Azevedo. Arapiranga AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Nilson de Lara shot from a long distance. Wanderson Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. Murilo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz de Andrade in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Vicente Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapiranga AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Arapiranga AD booed when Dinofauro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Vicente Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinofauro FC's Murilo Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Arapiranga AD's Vicente Secco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Arapiranga AD's Magno Valle got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dinofauro FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arapiranga AD.
