When Luiz Paulo do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocinhos FC's protests and gave Luiz Paulo do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pocinhos FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luiz Paulo do Nascimento hit a great ball. Leopoldo Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik Pitta. Pocinhos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pocinhos FC's Erik Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Castro in the 11th minute of play. Geovani Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wanderson Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Donato Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinofauro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocinhos FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Dinofauro FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Tasso. Wanderson Cavalcante took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Pitta. Erik Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Geovani Castro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Erik Pitta to make any attempt to save it. Dinofauro FC's Wanderson Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match, Geovani Castro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Pitta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manuel Sampaio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Geovani Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Pitta having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Geovani Castro made the kick off in the second half. Pocinhos FC's Erik Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Cavalcante in the 53rd minute of play. The Pocinhos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Pitta should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Manuel Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes Pocinhos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Brodel who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Brodel made a great header on Dinofauro FC's corner, it was just that Pocinhos FC's Erik Pitta managed to reach the ball for a save. After 97th play minutes Wanderson Cavalcante shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Erik Pitta and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee ended the match the Dinofauro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
