In the 9th minute Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raposo's Jorginho França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Raposo from getting a goal against them. Eustaquio Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jorginho França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remicio Fouillioux in the 17th minute of play. Eustaquio Erruki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Henrique Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cajazeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Cajazeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Viana came free, but Eustaquio Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rafa Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cajazeiras's protests and gave Rafa Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Raposo's Joaquim de Barros got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hélio Passos's late challenge caught a Raposo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Passos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Cajazeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Passos to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cajazeiras's Eustaquio Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Simão in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remicio Fouillioux to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Antônio Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Raposo's Valdir Vianna got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Gabriel Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cajazeiras's Eustaquio Erruki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Remicio Fouillioux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho França. Raposo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remicio Fouillioux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Raul Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Viana in the 78th minute of play forced Cajazeiras's goalkeeper Eustaquio Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eustaquio Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Raposo defense, Remicio Fouillioux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorginho França. The Raposo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorginho França should have stopped the shot. Cajazeiras's Eustaquio Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Viana in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cajazeiras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Raposo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
