The supporters of MARMANDUKE FC booed when Salu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. João da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes in the game, João da Rocha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hamílton Motta having to interfere. If Valdir Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salu FC's William Leme was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Albertinho Munhoz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamílton Motta. Albertinho Munhoz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Salu FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
