Vitório Fernandes started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Vitório Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vitório Fernandes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Deivid Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Nestor Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Régis Lara. Nestor Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Fernandes in the 26th minute of play forced Salu FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Luisinho Leão in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Salu FC's Nestor Veiga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Rezende in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Percy Rezende notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Salu FC's Jerônimo Pontes. Jerônimo Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerônimo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Fernandes in the 47th minute of play. The Salu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fearless Jungle Jaguars were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deivid Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Salu FC's Albertinho Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertinho Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Régis Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, William Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Deivid Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertinho Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Lara having to interfere. Deivid Coutinho scored 5-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Régis Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salu FC fully deserved thier win.
