Chulé de Cobra's Raphaël Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Maciel in the 11th minute of play. Raphaël Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ibitiquira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder de Sena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elder de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Ibitiquira's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Abreu came free, but Severino Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder de Senas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Severino Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rubens Abraão's late challenge caught a Chulé de Cobra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubens Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibitiquira! The goalkeeper, Severino Lima, was totally fooled by Chulé de Cobra's Leonardo Miranda, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 41st minute, Wilton do Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Lima. The goal made the score 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Ibitiquira's goalkeeper Severino Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder de Sena. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Maciel was the one to do the kick off. Severino Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder de Sena in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Wilton do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chulé de Cobra's Wilton do Valle in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibitiquira's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Wilton do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibitiquira's Severino Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Luís Fernando Soares fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibitiquira's protests and gave Luís Fernando Soares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Ibitiquira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Soares to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ibitiquira's zone, Wilton do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Lima came out of the goal and Wilton do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton do Valle in the 83rd minute of play forced Ibitiquira's goalkeeper Severino Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Gualterio Florinio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chulé de Cobra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibitiquira the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalmo de Amaral got free with Raphaël Čech in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chulé de Cobra were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ibitiquira for a fine match.
