Brococo AD's Hélder Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Brococo AD from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Danilo Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brococo AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Hermes got free with Hélder Loureiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lúcio Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Loureiro having to interfere. Hélder Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionísio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Brococo AD's Emanuel Porto got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Flavinho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jubaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Danilo Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Flavinho Hermes made the kick off in the second half. Walmir Loureiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danilo Quadros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Jubaia's goalkeeper Walmir Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Brasil.
