Tales Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Valadares in the 6th minute of play forced Magic FC's goalkeeper Tales Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Neto's late challenge caught a Itirucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Neto helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes into the game, one of Magic FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Itirucu. Juninho Miranda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tales Vidal. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Itirucu's Valdir Meira got a free kick in the 13th minute. The long shot by Guilherme Neto in the 14th minute really tested Erasmo Borges's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. André Munhoz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. José Augusto Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Vidal having to make a save. In the 25th minute André Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Itirucu's Décio Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 32 played minutes Magic FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Neto. After 33 played minutes, Itirucu's Juninho Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tales Vidal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itirucu reached it. Itirucu's Agenor Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Augusto Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Agenor Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itirucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agenor Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Agenor Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Vidal was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Arlindo Rossi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Magic FC's Tales Vidal. Tales Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, José Maria Mattos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Itirucu's Aílton Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Magic FC's Delfim Martins got a free kick in the 56th minute. If José Augusto Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juvenal Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magic FC's protests and gave Juvenal Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. Juvenal Hermes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Magic FC's Tales Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Magic FC from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes of play, Itirucu's José Augusto Lima made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tales Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Magic FC's zone, José Maria Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Vidal came out of the goal and José Maria Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Magic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Valadares came free, but Tales Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Magic FC's zone, Aílton Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Vidal came out of the goal and Aílton Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aílton Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itirucu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aílton Catarinense hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Douglas Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic FC and the Itirucu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Magic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Tróia to maneuver through the defense. When Aílton Catarinense was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 89th match minute, Itirucu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. If Décio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Magic FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Neto. Itirucu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
