Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaká Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcinho Rosado came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Oloyalemong EC's Ronaldo Mattos. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edvaldo Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Tavares in the 13th minute of play forced Oloyalemong EC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edvaldo Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braunat. In the 28th minute, Kaká Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Berger. The goal made the score 1-1. When Vicente de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oloyalemong EC's protests and gave Vicente de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oloyalemong EC's Vicente de Godoi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Luiz Fernando Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. Edvaldo Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Lopes in the 36th minute of the match. If Luiz Fernando Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Kaká Tavares took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Edvaldo Berger to make any attempt to save it.

Oloyalemong EC's Edvaldo Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Tavares in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Kaká Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Tavares in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Braunat's Kaká Tavares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Kaká Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaká Tavares scored 4-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Oloyalemong EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Sampaio came free, but Edvaldo Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Tavares scored 5-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fernando Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Edvaldo Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká Tavares spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Oloyalemong EC's goal. 86 minutes into the match, Braunat's Luiz Fernando Sampaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Kaká Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Tavares in the 92nd minute of play forced Oloyalemong EC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, one of Oloyalemong EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luiz Fernando Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Berger having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Braunat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
