The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Edmondo Vulcano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 5 minutes into the match, Itapipoca FC's goalkeeper Nestor Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 姚朗宇. In the 6th minute Jailson Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petrópolis FC's Dedé Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Meira in the 6th minute of play. When Petrópolis FC's Edmondo Vulcano in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapipoca FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute, Petrópolis FC's Edmondo Vulcano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Godoi. Nestor Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ramiro Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Marcelo Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Dionísio came free in the 22nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Dedé Negri, but to the joy of Petrópolis FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. 27 minutes into the match, Edmondo Vulcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Godoi, 3-0. Edmondo Vulcano struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nestor Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrópolis FC. When Itapipoca FC's Jailson Meira in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmondo Vulcano to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Ramiro Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapipoca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Dionísio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmondo Vulcano in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Edmondo Vulcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 姚朗宇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 姚朗宇 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that 姚朗宇's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Godoi was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Itapipoca FC's Nestor Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Vulcano in the 81st minute of play. If Edmondo Vulcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姚朗宇 in the 92nd minute of play forced Itapipoca FC's goalkeeper Nestor Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, 姚朗宇 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrópolis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 姚朗宇 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play, Petrópolis FC's 姚朗宇 made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
