In the 53rd minute, Murillo Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Fellipe Coelho. Paranaense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Nestor Leme's late challenge caught a Atlético de Indaial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Leme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paranaense FC's Nestor Leme got a free kick in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Paranaense FC's Josué Seco threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovani Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giovani Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Seco having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Indaial's zone, Luís Fabiano Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Seco came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético de Indaial's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when César Varela scored to the left of an out of position Josué Seco, making the score, 2-2. Josué Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Varela in the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Juvenal Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Linhares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Josué Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giovani Dias struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Josué Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranaense FC. Paranaense FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
