Luís Fabiano Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Romário Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luís Fabiano Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Giovani Dias came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Paranaense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Dias couldn't finish the play. Luís Fabiano Linhares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. In the 13th minute, Giovani Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Leme in the 15th minute of play forced A.C.LoBaTo Juniors's goalkeeper Romário Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paranaense FC's Fellipe Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Arantes in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Giovani Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, César Varela put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romário Recife. Giovani Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Paranaense FC booed when A.C.LoBaTo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.C.LoBaTo Juniors's Romário Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Dias in the 28th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romário Recife having to make a save. Giovani Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Paranaense FC's César Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romário Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. César Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romário Recife having to make a save. A collision led to A.C.LoBaTo Juniors getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leonardo Santana hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C.LoBaTo Juniors's goalkeeper Romário Recife, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Romário Recife came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranaense FC's Giovani Dias. But to his dismay, Giovani Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Pinho in the 75th minute of play forced Paranaense FC's goalkeeper Fellipe Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Paranaense FC's Luís Fabiano Linhares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romário Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, A.C.LoBaTo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Dias came free, but Romário Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Luís Fabiano Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranaense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fabiano Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romário Recife. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. Romário Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Linhares in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Paranaense FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
