After 22 minutes of play, Chucky's Tomás Luar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Chucky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Bosso to maneuver through the defense. Itanhomy EC's Mazinho Motta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chucky. Itanhomy EC's Matías Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Pimenta having to interfere. Dário Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Percy Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jorge da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Gilberto Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frédson Mumbach charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frédson Mumbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Chucky's Tomás Luar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilberto Valladares. Gilberto Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Luís Guilherme de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chucky's protests and gave Luís Guilherme de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Chucky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme de Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 100th minute Dário Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chucky's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
