Spectators: 5150 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Guraituba's Telmo Maia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. José Carlos Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Guraituba got a freekick which was hit by Duda Carneiro. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guraituba's goalkeeper José Carlos Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albertino Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Denis Trandafir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ratones's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Trandafir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Trandafir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Paulista having to interfere. In the 17th minute Albertino Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Guraituba getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Telmo Maia hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, João Augusto da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Telmo Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maciej Bartochowski. Ratones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telmo Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mário de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, João Pedro Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ratones's Denis Trandafir got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Trandafir in the 39th minute of play forced Guraituba's goalkeeper José Carlos Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Telmo Maia came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Guraituba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Maia couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Ratones's goalkeeper Maciej Bartochowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Augusto da Fonseca. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Denis Trandafir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Paulista having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Guraituba got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Goiano. 56 minutes into the match, Guraituba's goalkeeper José Carlos Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Trandafir. In the 60th minute, Ratones's Albertino Saraiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Denis Trandafir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Róbson Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guraituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ratones the free kick. With a little luck, Guraituba's José Carlos Paulista got control of the ball when Denis Trandafir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Guraituba's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Cabral came free, but José Carlos Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Denis Trandafir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Carlos Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Alvarenga in the 77th minute of play. Dé Paranaense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Telmo Maia struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maciej Bartochowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guraituba. After 85 minutes, Amauri Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guraituba and the Ratones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Amauri Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Augusto da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maciej Bartochowski having to make a save. Guraituba succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ratones had controlled the match.
