The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Hawaii Kokua F.C's Jarbas Tepedino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Régis Chaves. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Trzenzalski got free with Régis Chaves in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Régis Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Hawaii Kokua F.C's Roch Trzenzalski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roch Trzenzalskis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Régis Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes in the game, Jarbas Tepedino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Régis Chaves having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Dorival Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geary FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hawaii Kokua F.C the free kick. Dorival Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Geary FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho de Sena. Júlio Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Geary FC's zone, Roch Trzenzalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Chaves came out of the goal and Roch Trzenzalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Juninho de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geary FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Anselmo Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geary FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hawaii Kokua F.C the free kick. Anselmo Jacinto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes of play Geary FC's Dorival Carioca was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With his leg Régis Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Hawaii Kokua F.C's Roch Trzenzalski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39th play minutes Roch Trzenzalski shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Régis Chaves and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Roch Trzenzalski made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Trzenzalski in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Chaves saved Geary FC from getting behind. Pedro Augusto Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Walmir Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Geary FC's zone, Júlio Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Chaves came out of the goal and Júlio Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hawaii Kokua F.C made a substitution. Donatello Lara replaced Jarbas Tepedino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Diniz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Chaves saved Geary FC from getting behind. If Júlio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marco Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Roch Trzenzalski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geary FC's Régis Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience held their breath when Jaime Sabóia in the 86th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Régis Chaves's left hand side. If Roch Trzenzalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatello Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hawaii Kokua F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
