Inhangapy's Henrique Valladares pulled a muscle in his back after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 15 minutes into the game, Diguinho Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GREMIO OSASCO F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inhangapy the free kick. If Ian Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Botelho in the 18th minute of play forced GREMIO OSASCO F.C's goalkeeper Denílson Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 35 played minutes Inhangapy got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Brito. 37 minutes into the game, one of Inhangapy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for GREMIO OSASCO F.C. César Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baltazar Guimarães. 1-2. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Ian Botelho sped through GREMIO OSASCO F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denílson Gonçalves. When the match was over Inhangapy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GREMIO OSASCO F.C throughout the match.
