Spectators: 6955 (Terracing: 5152, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) After some careless play in the Irakeanos defense, Renan Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Amaral. The Irakeanos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Amaral should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIPETEAM's goalkeeper Arí Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes, Edgar de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LIPETEAM and the Irakeanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Renan Meira scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulisses Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lúcio Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses Amaral came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by LIPETEAM's Gláuber Moraes. But to his dismay, Gláuber Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Renan Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irakeanos's Lúcio Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulisses Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Lúcio Severo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Moisés Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irakeanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulisses Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano do Valle in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, LIPETEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Vander came free, but Arí Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes, LIPETEAM's Silvério Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulisses Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LIPETEAM reached it.

In the 53rd minute Edgar de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Vander's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Gláuber Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ulisses Amaral made a huge save. Christiano do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Freire's late challenge caught a LIPETEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Freire helped the player get up and apologised. LIPETEAM's Luizinho Pontes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Irakeanos. During the 69th minute of the match Edgar de Amorim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgar de Amorim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes LIPETEAM got a freekick which was hit by Edgar de Amorim. Renan Meira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulisses Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Renan Meira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 72nd minute. In the 80th match minute, LIPETEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Meira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gláuber Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIPETEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Gláuber Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to LIPETEAM getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Silvério Valadares hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Bernardinho Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Christiano do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the LIPETEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano do Valle couldn't finish the play. The LIPETEAM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LIPETEAM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
