In the 22nd minute Rony de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Leão made a kick off. Cipriano Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Leão's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Rony de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snowford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Motuca's zone, Anselmo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Toledo came out of the goal and Anselmo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony de Lara struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cipriano Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snowford FC. With a little luck, Motuca's Cipriano Toledo got control of the ball when Rony de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Motuca's Cipriano Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Leão in the 75th minute of play.
