After 5 minutes of play, Barranceira SC's Nestor da Silva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Giuseppe Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cafezopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Andrade came free, but Giuseppe Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Barranceira SC booed when Cafezopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Frédson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cafezopolis getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kléber Alvarenga hit a great ball. When Barranceira SC's Nestor da Silva in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The attack was good, but when Frédson Andrade in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 36 minutes into the match, Cafezopolis's Dedé Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédson Andrade in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Sá saved Cafezopolis from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Cafezopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Andrade came free, but Giuseppe Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafinha Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Barranceira SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frédson Andrade made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Abraão during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barranceira SC's Nestor da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Cafezopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Andrade came free, but Giuseppe Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frédson Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Abraão hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Barranceira SC's Wilian Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Alvarenga in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
