Esquadrão da Cachaça's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANALISTY FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Esquadrão da Cachaça got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Dias. André Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Passos having to interfere. Adolfo Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edgard Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When ANALISTY FC's Paulo Gaúcho in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Esquadrão da Cachaça booed when ANALISTY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Renan Koehler hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Dias to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Esquadrão da Cachaça's zone, André Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Passos came out of the goal and André Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Branco's late challenge caught a ANALISTY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Branco helped the player get up and apologised. Afonso Branco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Paulo Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Edgard Passos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 60 in the game by Paulo Gaúcho from a close distance when the talented Edgard Passos managed to make a qualified save. Esquadrão da Cachaça's players were relieved. If Ronaldinho Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquadrão da Cachaça. Renan Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 79 minutes, Renan Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquadrão da Cachaça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as André Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgard Passos. That made the score 0-1 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th minute, ANALISTY FC's André Linhares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Passos. Edgard Passos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Renan Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlinhos Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adolfo Urtun fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ANALISTY FC's protests and gave Adolfo Urtun a yellow card for diving instead. ANALISTY FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
