Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronaldinho Dias kicked off to start the match. Jean da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Passos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Manto SS's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Koehler came free, but Renan Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Passos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ronaldinho Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Esquadrão da Cachaça's Renan Koehler in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manto SS's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Manto SS's Cristian Ceresso got a free kick in the 30th minute. Esquadrão da Cachaça's Edgard Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean da Fonseca in the 36th minute of play. If Cipriano Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Manto SS's Jean da Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Passos. Edgard Passos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean da Fonseca made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ronaldinho Dias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Renan Sá, passed just outside the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Esquadrão da Cachaça's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Dias came free, but Edgard Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Dias in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Passos saved Esquadrão da Cachaça from getting behind. Edgard Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Dias's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. A collision led to Manto SS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jean da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Manto SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renan Koehler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgard Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Dias in the 74th minute of play. Renan Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Esquadrão da Cachaça booed when Manto SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Ronaldinho Dias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Renan Sá made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Renan Koehler sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Dias in the 82nd minute of play forced Esquadrão da Cachaça's goalkeeper Edgard Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Passos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Edgard Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cafu Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafu Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Jean da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manto SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esquadrão da Cachaça had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
