Fabuloso F.C's Téo das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ciza's Luisinho Barbosa got a free kick in the 7th minute. Lino Medeiros hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Ciza got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Barbosa. If Lino Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo das Neves in the 18th minute of play forced Ciza's goalkeeper Arthur Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo das Neves in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Lino Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciza's Arthur Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arthur Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Medeiros in the 23rd minute of play. Arthur Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Travassos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Donato Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciza. Téo das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Lino Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Abraão was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Donato Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Cosme in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Romeu Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Téo das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Abraão. Ciza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ciza's zone, Lino Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Abraão came out of the goal and Lino Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Medeiros in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Abraão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fabuloso F.C! The referee gave Ciza a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Eduardo Linares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fabuloso F.C's Donato Maranhense. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fabuloso F.C's Eliseu Gonçalves got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ciza's Arthur Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ciza from getting a goal against them. Téo das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Téo das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabuloso F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Ciza's goalkeeper Arthur Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo das Neves. 98 minutes into the game, Eliseu Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arthur Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
