After a defensive mix-up in Los Gorotz's zone, Elias Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Digo Prado came out of the goal and Elias Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Profeta FC's Valdo Senna got control of the ball when Gaston Vives tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falcão Furtado made a kick off. A collision led to Profeta FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Falcão Furtado hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Profeta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Donato came free, but Valdo Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Elias Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Valdo Senna. Profeta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Digo Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Digo Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Carvalho went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Valdo Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Moraes in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Elias Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Los Gorotz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
