Eusébio Fernandez stood somewhat misplaced when Fulvio Pascali came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Cacal's Eusébio Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Oliveira in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamim Tinoco in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Tinoco saved Melado FC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Cacal's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Oliveira came free, but Eusébio Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Oliveira in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Fernandez saved Cacal from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Christian Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Francisco Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Fernandez, making the score, 3-0. Eugênio Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes, Vágner Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacal and the Melado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cacal getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vágner Arósio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Francisco Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Francisco Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Melado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Oliveira in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Benjamim Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacal and the Melado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Benjamim Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruninho Nascimento shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Pascali in the 66th minute of play forced Cacal's goalkeeper Eusébio Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Pascali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Cacal's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Oliveira came free, but Eusébio Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes, Fulvio Pascali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melado FC and the Cacal players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Pascali in the 79th minute of play forced Cacal's goalkeeper Eusébio Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Albuquerque got free with José Maria Tinoco in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fabiano da Fonseca hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eusébio Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luiz Fabiano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eusébio Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Melado FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
