Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sílvio Motta got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Víktor Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quixoba's Telmo Tavares. Telmo Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ganryu SC booed when Quixoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Amaral during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Ganryu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Amaral to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Víktor Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixoba's Telmo Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Quixoba's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Tepedino came free, but Telmo Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Víktor Fernandez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quixoba's Telmo Tavares. Telmo Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 21 minutes of play, Ganryu SC's Víktor Fernandez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The tension between the Quixoba and the Ganryu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quixoba's Matías Lago got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Quixoba defense, Manfredo Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Tavares. The Quixoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Tavares should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Víktor Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganryu SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When Zézinho Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Quixoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Loureiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Quixoba booed when Ganryu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Zézinho Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quixoba's Zézinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Ganryu SC's Raí Paulista made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víktor Fernandez in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64thth minute of the game Víktor Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixoba's Telmo Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Fernandez in the 66th minute. The supporters of Quixoba booed when Ganryu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Raí Paulista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Telmo Tavares. Manfredo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Tavares having to interfere. Víktor Fernandez had several of the Quixoba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Telmo Tavares as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 92nd minute Zézinho Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarne Van Doren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jarne Van Doren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antônio Carlos Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ganryu SC's protests and gave Antônio Carlos Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Ganryu SC got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Saldanha. Ganryu SC played a much better game than Quixoba and deserved their victory. The Quixoba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
