The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Wiliam de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Cunha in the 54th minute of play. Ramiro Lopez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Danilo Castro. Wiliam de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam de Andrade in the 93rd minute of the match. Palmeiras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
