Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Denílson Vergílio managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Ameixas's Danilo Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th minute, Lucas Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Jacinto. Ameixas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute Noel Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ameixas's Danilo Almeida in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tangente SC's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimir Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Simões's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. A collision led to Ameixas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ramón Domingues hit a great ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Lucas Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ameixas's Vladimir Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ramón Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ameixas's protests and gave Ramón Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Tangente SC. Henrique de Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimir Jacinto. 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, Tangente SC's Noel Simões made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinaldo Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denílson Vergílio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Reinaldo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Vergílio having to interfere. Tangente SC's Noel Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Almeida to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Reinaldo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ameixas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucas Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Jacinto was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to Tangente SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dário Fernandez hit a great ball. Denílson Vergílio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Almeida's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Reinaldo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Denílson Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ameixas booed when Tangente SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Tangente SC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Almeida came free, but Denílson Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Azevedo in the 71st minute of play. Denílson Vergílio came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ameixas's Danilo Almeida. But to his dismay, Danilo Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Azevedo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Jacinto saved Ameixas from getting behind. In the 95th minute Danilo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tangente SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tangente SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
