Andremio's Luizão Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Bezerra in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to B2 FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Telmo Bezerra hit a great ball. Aírton Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Andremio's zone, Aírton Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Marquez came out of the goal and Aírton Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Telmo Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B2 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Montenegro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Enrique Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Marquez having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Andremio got a freekick which was hit by Fred Montenegro. Aírton Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizão Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aírton Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gustavo Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Aírton Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Andremio's Luizão Marquez got control of the ball when Telmo Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Telmo Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B2 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enrique Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Andremio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Luizão Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Telmo Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88thth minute Reinaldo de Almeida beautifully dribbled past B2 FC's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Gustavo Arruda pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. After having played for 88 minutes, Fred Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andremio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gino Mello hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Andremio's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Tasso came free, but Luizão Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. B2 FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
