Maje's Belmiro de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Vinhas in the 10th minute of play. When Gonçalo Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tapora EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Vinhas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tapora EC booed when Maje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belmiro de Sena made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Antônio Branco sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro de Sena having to interfere. Belmiro de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Belmiro de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Gonçalo Vinhas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Belmiro de Sena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gonçalo Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antônio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro de Sena having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gonçalo Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapora EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Belmiro de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Maicon Romero came free in the 54th minute and tried to tip the ball over Joel da Mata, but to the joy of Tapora EC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Gustavo Mineiro scored 0-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonçalo Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belmiro de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. The Tapora EC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Tapora EC's Gonçalo Vinhas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Belmiro de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Branco in the 66th minute of play. If Gonçalo Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Antônio Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Belmiro de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belmiro de Sena didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tapora EC's Antônio Branco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Branco in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maicon Romero hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Gonçalo Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapora EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Romero in the 87th minute of the match. Gustavo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Lemnaru kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tapora EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
