In the 44thth minute of the game Fabinho Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvorada FC's Dário Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvorada FC's Dário Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Lima in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cascata FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Alvarenga. Alvorada FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adriano Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Recife came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Lima in the 85th minute of play forced Alvorada FC's goalkeeper Dário Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jairo Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cascata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Lima in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dário Recife saved Alvorada FC from getting behind. Dário Recife made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ezequiel Pontes sent off a good shot on target.
