Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 10) Ataque's Jerônimo Urbano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Jonas Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BNH FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Albuquerque in the 12th minute of play forced Ataque's goalkeeper Rafa Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Meireles's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. BNH FC's Raí Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Jonas Meireles notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ataque's Rafa Veiga. Rafa Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Nilton Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BNH FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton Cruz couldn't finish the play. Rafa Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Meireles's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonas Meireles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Veiga was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lara in the 52nd minute of the match. Rafa Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Meireles went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Meireles in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ataque's Victor Damião got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Victor Damião threw the ball into play from the sideline. BNH FC's Artur Neves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Adolfo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Rubinho Paulista sped through BNH FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Moreira. Joel Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Rafa Veiga made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Nilton Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Meireles did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Rafa Veiga 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Jonas Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ataque's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Meireles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Ataque's Rafa Veiga got control of the ball when Nilton Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubinho Paulista took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Moreira. Adolfo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. BNH FC played a much better game than Ataque and deserved their victory. The Ataque players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
